The REAL Reason Why Celebrities IGNORE You on Instagram
Are you trying to get a celebrity to respond to your DMs but you’re not getting anything back? There’s a reason why they’re not responding that’s more obvious than just because they’re busy.
The first thing I want you to think about is why?
Why do you want that celebrity to respond back to you?
Is it for the simple interaction just so you can feel better knowing they acknowledged you? Or do you have bigger plans to actually be friends with that celebrity? To get to know them better, maybe even work for them in the future? Well, if you just want them to like your post or comment on it because you’re a huge fan and it’ll feel good, I think the best thing for you to do is to focus on creating something for that person to see.
For example, years ago when I found out The Rock was going to have a tv show called Wake Up Call, I decided to make a video talking about some of the videos from that show.
I tweeted The Rock, I tagged him in it and I got an actual response back from him and I gotta say, it’s pretty cool having a celebrity actually acknowledge something that you put hard work into to show appreciation for them.

But a lot of times people fall into what is called “Parasocial relationships” which means that there’s a one-sided relationship with you and that celebrity.
Ultimately the more you consume their content, you watch their videos, you read their posts, you see what they’re doing online, you feel like you develop a friendship with them, the two of you are really close even though that celebrity may not know who you are so you might feel more inclined to constantly contact them. To constantly get annoyed and upset every time they don’t respond back to you because you feel like there’s a real friendship there even though they don’t feel that same way too.
