My Crush Ignores My DMs, What Do I Do?!
Have you ever sent a DM to your crush only to just not get any type of response back from them? It’s like they just left you on read or ghosted you completely. If you‘re not sure what you can do when your crush doesn’t respond back to your DMs, I want you to know it’s not hopeless.
Now the first thought that might run through your mind when you don’t get a response back from them is:
What did I do wrong?
Did I say something, did I do something?
Why aren’t they responding?
And this is pretty typical right? You start to think that you messed up along the way instead of really thinking of some other potential things that might be causing them to not respond.
We really do live in a world where people expect instant gratification, meaning if I send you a message and even if you look at that message I’m expecting a response back when I want it but one thing we have to remember is that not everyone is ready to go into a text conversation. Not everyone is ready to respond to someone or not everyone knows exactly what they want to say.
There have been plenty of times where people text me something, I read that message and I tell myself okay I’m gonna respond to this when I have the time and energy to invest in that conversation. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to talk to that person it just means in this moment I’m not ready to do that.
But when it comes to our crush we play it up because we have these deep feelings for them we’re hoping and wanting that they like us back just as much as we like them and the truth of the matter is the question you have to ask yourself is have you invested the time to get them to feel that way?
If you haven’t invested that time then chances are there’s more hoping than doing going on here, so you’re gonna want to change how you communicate with them.
The first way to go about doing that is to stop spamming them and sending them multiple messages over and over when they haven’t even responded to the first one.
